Green Smoothie

This is my absolute favorite smoothie recipe. I just made it up on the fly one day based on one I had at a restaurant.

  • 1 Banana
  • ½ Cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 handful baby spinach leaves
  • ½ Cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • A few cubes of ice

Directions:

Put all ingredients into the blender and blend until consistency of a smoothie!  Pour into a glass sip with a straw. 

Voila!  You have a healthy breakfast / snack!
