Well, THIS happened! If you know us, you know the Lord and Master Beckman and I cut up sometimes. Today was no exception. We had a little ramekin with whipped cream and a cherry from a take home dessert that we ate without these additions. So today he comes to me with this in hand and said “if you don’t want this, I’m going to eat the cherry and throw it away”. To this I said, “I’d like to eat the cherry, that’s the best part and then you can throw it away.” This is where the story gets funny….
He said, something like, I wanted the cherry; I replied, that’s fine, have the cherry, he said, no, you have the cherry…we went back and forth a bit then he commenced with THE THREAT: “Just eat the cherry, if you don’t I will dump this on your head”, I said no, “you eat the cherry”…we did this for a couple moments you see the result of the encounter. The look on his face was PRICELESS! He said, I did not think they would fall out! I said, “I cannot believe you did that, this is going in my blog!”
WOW! Oh no, he did NOT!
We then snapped a couple photos for evidence. The thing about it is, I was not even mad. I was shocked but not mad. That is what makes our marriage so fun, we can cut up and sometimes we both tend to take it a little to far but we know that about each other and accept it. It was not done out of malice and it was really funny…. I love that I have a husband that I can cut up and laugh with. Life’s too short to be so serious all the time.
